Manufacturing Packer (Security)

• Day Shift: 08:00 - 20:00
• Night Shift: 20:00 - 08:00

(Valid SIA Licence & Driving Licence essential)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Manual Packer / Security Cover Officer to join our team in Maydown, Londonderry. This is a dual-role position where you will primarily work as a Manual Packer within a busy manufacturing environment while also providing holiday and sickness cover for the Security Team.

You'll receive full training and ongoing support in both roles, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and progress their career.

Key Responsibilities of a Manual Packer (providing security cover) :

• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Identify and record any substandard products
• Move packing buggies and materials safely around the warehouse
• Pack products following company procedures
• Prepare products for distribution
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Meet daily packing targets

Security Duties:

• Issue replacement access passes for employees and visitors
• Book delivery vehicles, tankers, and containers on and off site
• Prepare induction documentation for visitors and contractors
• Conduct site patrols using a company vehicle
• Maintain site security procedures and records

Key Requirements of the Manual Packer (providing Security cover):

• Aged 18 or over
• Valid SIA Licence
• Full Driving Licence
• Previous security experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent attendance
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures
• GCSE Maths, English and Science Grade C or above (or equivalent)Desirable
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is not required.
