Security Control Room Operator

The shift pattern will follow a rotating schedule of two day shifts, followed by two night shifts, then four days off. This cycle repeats weekly. While we aim to maintain consistency, occasional deviations may occur due to illness, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances

Flexibility to work night shifts is essential, with the ability to work up to 48 hours per week as required.

Due to immediate service requirements, this role is open to applicants who hold EU/EEA citizenship with the right to work in Ireland without restriction. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to support visa applications or work permits for this role at this time.

Role Overview

Join Bidvest Noonan as a Security Control Room Operator at our Head Office. You’ll ensure the safety and welfare of staff across the estate, manage emergency communications, and operate key security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm dispatch.

Key Responsibilities of the Security Control Room Operator:

• Monitor officer welfare and respond to missed calls
• Handle emergency situations and liaise with services
• Operate control room systems (CCTV, alarms, access control)
• Manage inbound/outbound calls professionally
• Report incidents accurately
• Support rostering and daily task execution
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR
• Complete all required training modules

Key Requirements of the Security Control Room Operator:

• Valid PSA Licence (Security Static)
• 5+ years verifiable work history
• 1+ year in a control room or similar environment
• Strong communication, IT, and multitasking skills
• Calm under pressure, team-oriented, and customer-focused
• Flexible to work shifts, including nights and weekends

 Benefits:

• Rates of pay €17:50 per hour rising to €18 per hour after probation + standard ERO rates for overtime. Sunday/Public Holidays
