Senior Employee Relations Advisor
Salary: €50,000 - €55,000
Contract: Permanent | 40 hours
Environment: Hybrid
Location: Swords, Dublin or UK-based

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our People & Culture team. As part of our HR Transformation Programme, you will provide expert ER support, manage complex cases, and guide managers on employment law, policies, and best practice.

 

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Employee Relations Advisor 

  • Manage complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters from initiation through to resolution.
  • Provide expert advice on employment law, HR policies, and procedures.
  • Lead and support WRC cases, litigation matters, and settlement agreements.
  • Coach and support managers on employee relations issues.
  • Manage Industrial Relations matters and liaise with union representatives.
  • Deliver ER training and contribute to HR projects and policy development.
  • Monitor ER trends and provide reporting and recommendations.

 

Key Requirements of the Senior Employee Relations Advisor 

  • Proven Employee Relations experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
  • Experience attending WRC hearings.
  • Experience managing complex ER cases and WRC matters.
  • Industrial Relations and trade union experience.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to provide practical, commercially focused advice.
